It prevents the splattering of oil and cooking debris into the gaps between the vent and the wall. Not only is it handy for small items like condiments, but it also serves as a temporary resting place for larger pots and pans. Simply slide it back when using the grill. If you have small items like condiments, they can stay in place while you extend the cover. It can extend to a maximum depth of about 16.5m, making it convenient for temporarily placing larger pots and pans. Designed with a low height to make it difficult for cooking debris to enter the gap with the exhaust vent. It can be disassembled and washed with water, keeping it clean.
